At the beginning of January, we opened the Finance Lab for students and staff in new, larger premises! ✨
✔️ The facilities offer an even better opportunity to follow the activities and news of the financial markets in real time from the Bloomberg and LSEG terminals, which are familiar to many financial institutions. The terminals also have several tools for analysing securities or financial markets, for example.
✔️ There is also a huge amount of data available for research in e.g., finance, accounting, economics, and many other subject areas, as well as programs that support statistical analysis.
✔️ The facilities are available to students from morning to evening every day of the week.
✔️ The larger facilities also enable their use in teaching.

The Dean of the Turku School of Economics, Professor Markus Granlund, and Professors Mika Vaihekoski and Luis Álvarez Esteban visited the renovated Finance Lab:
🗨️ “The Finance Lab is a very important research and training environment for us. The new, modern, and comfortable facilities enable high-quality financing training. We would like to express our warm thanks to the Lieto Savings Bank Foundation for supporting the Finance Lab and enabling its development,” say Granlund and Álvarez Esteban.
