TSE master’s thesis on family business investment behavior considered as the best in 2025 by the Family Business Network Finland

Finnish family businesses act as long-term, decentralized investors with a strong focus on the domestic market. This is evident from Oliver Sohlberg‘s master’s thesis “Family Business investing in Finland: How Finnish Family Businesses allocate their portfolios?” in Accounting and Finance at the University of Turku School of Economics. The thesis was awarded the Matti Koiranen Prize by the Family Business Network Finland (fi. Perheyritysten liitto) as the best family business-oriented master’s thesis in Finland of 2025.

More information can be found here (in Finnish). The thesis can be seen here. The thesis was supervised by University Lecturer Antti Miihkinen.
